Pinsonic gets its name because of the pinsonic machine, which is a rapid, efficient quilting machine that uses ultrasonic energy rather than conventional stitching techniques to join front fabrics, middle filling and back fabrics together with specific patterns and designs. The Result: A stronger bond of the 3 materials; no pin holes in the fabric, nor threads that can fray or come loose. Limitations: Pinsonic quilting is favorable for joining materials with up to, but not exceeding 4 oz. of fill weight. Products with more than 4 oz. of fill do not pinsonically fuse completely through and through leading to bunching and fill not being properly contained.
